I was afraid that would be necessary.

What about the floodplain bridges? They look dilapidated.

I think it's already u/c.

The next two sections should be north or west of Rzeszow. Both are D&B contracts, design phase in progress, to be completed by 2017. Just have a look on the map: > click <.

S7 Kielce Western Bypass

Here’s a video I shot last week. I was driving at a steady 110 km/h and I was overtaken by 95% of vehicles. Kielce South (Południe)-> Kielce North (Północ).

Ugh, those express roads are poorly marked on Open Street Map. You can hardly see them if they run through a forested area.

The speed limit on this road is 120km/h with +/- 10 km/h measurement mistake, so why are You suprised, when You drove 110km/h ?

I am surprised because I usually stick to 110 km/h (which is the most fuel-efficient speed in my case) and I happen to both overtake and be overtaken.

There is new imagery on Google Street View from 2014, but it doesn't include all of the new motorways that were opened prior to summer 2014.

Here are the newly covered motorways:
- S3 Gorzów - Międzyrzecz
- A1 Toruń - Kowal
- S8 Syców - Wieruszów
- TSW in Warsaw (Opacz-Salomea interchanges)

There are also new bridges in Toruń and Bydgoszcz.

Most fuel efficient speed for most 6 speed cars is around 80 km/h

It seems to be a bridge across the Wisłok River. http://goo.gl/maps/NHdYO

I see. From those pictures you can't really tell if there's a river ahead. First I thought it was part of S19 in the outskirts.

Now knowing that there is a river, it does make sense.

BTW, what are the estimated costs of this bridge? We have a similar project planned here in Jelgava..

137 mln PLN (for 1,8 km of 2x2 road). Bridge lenght: 482 m, height: 110 m

The bridge seems to be a triumph of form over content.
