But as the snow line is expected at 800 metres on Sunday evening, lowering to 500 metres overnight and sea level on Monday morning, I don't expect any problems there either on Sunday.

Generally, Poland is quite good at keeping the roads driveable, more comparable to Bayern in my opinion than to Wallonia.
So, finaly there has been snow on monday morning but roads were good... except in Podwilk (and a bit in the cities after, until Slovakia) where the road was not so clear with a bit of snow/ice on the road, but it was okay, I expected much worse...

Krakow is a very nice city BTW

And the wait for opening of S19 Lublin bypass goes on ......

Estimated opening date was 6th December but that was never set in stone

It is frustrating many people on the Polish forum

Is there any evidence that it really has been changed?

How is DK19 routed now?

DK19 is routed along the motorway bypass. (Since "S" is just a prefix, it does not mean a separate route)
Formally, the old route of DK19 (https://www.google.pl/maps/dir/51.28...310f1f!1m0!3e0) has just lost the "DK" category and became a "DW" road without any number. (As the law says, that if a new alignment of roads gets built, the old alignment's category changes to lower.) It now requires some ordinances/resolutions to bring it back this sectionhttps://www.google.pl/maps/dir/51.28...310f1f!1m0!3e0 to "DK" category, but this is the plan. This is why DK82 was left in the city in the first place.

Got it but has signage already been changed? "Is DK82 been extended"?

No. BTW, the section in question was never physically signed as DK19, despite it formally being part of DK19.
GDDKiA fails to keep up with implementing the road numbering changes on the signage. The road south of Lublin-Rudnik intrechange is numbered DW835 for over a year, but it can't be found anywhere on the signage.

I'm still hugely impressed with what Poland has done....built a massive motorway network on the sly while 'pretending' they are not Motorways to keep the green nutjobs in Brussels happy.....and the cash coming in. By the time they find out in 2019 or so the back of the work is broken.

I don't think Masovia Region (Warsaw) will qualify for EU funds after 2020 so get that region finished quick.

S6: Kiełpino – Kołobrzeg-West 24.1km (December 2016 to May 2019) – projectmap

Are Bełchatów (DK74) bypass and S8 (Zambrów - Mężenin) going to open to traffic next week or anytime before Christmas?

It now depends on the clerks from Office of Building Control (or whatever that would be called in English) - how fast will they manage to check everything and issue the use permit (again, I don't know what is the correct phrase in English)
