The city in the center of the Pacific Ocean, Honolulu Hawaii.
![]() '![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Honolulu's Chinatown, the 2nd biggest chinatown in the United States and the most diverse one (unlike other typical chinatowns that is mainly if not all chinese focus, this one is a multicutural chinatown with Filipinos, Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai, Laos, Samoan, Tongan, Hawaiian shops. I've taken these pictures on the Forth of July (major American holiday) so the streets are empty. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lastly two pictures of Honolulu's beaches Kailua Beach, Honolulu FlickR image hosted on flickr ![]() Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms. That was happiness then. - Harold Brodkey |

I like how there are alot of buildings, but I don't think I like the look of the buildings, looks like Honolulu needs more glass/steel buildings.

The white-ness of Honolulu's building comes from the coral-concrete mixed used to build these buildings.

I stitched 4 pictures of downtown Honolulu from Aloha Tower. This is the CBD, which I think is more attractive than Waikiki's hotel skyline.
And I took these from a plane window on the way to a neighbor island: Downtown Kakaako (hot new area) Ala Moana Center (Hawaii's oldest and largest mall) Waikiki Waikiki Of course, this is far more than some skyline, Daddy

Yes, I took those pictures on a plane to Lanai for work. Catching those small puddle-jumpers lets you go lower over Oahu.
Some more skyline shots of Honolulu & Waikiki ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Ha ha! Tricked you!)

About to say, thats Battery Park in that last shot. I always liked the Honolulu skyline. You look at some of the top 25 most populated American cities now and they have no skyline whatsoever. Nice density here.
