Isn't there a planned schedules water taxi service from the Quays via the city centre to the Trafford centre or is there some kind of service operating anyway?

Like the view approaching Manc from Cheetham hill, never been that way, shame the pics are blurry

Probably on of the best pictures(the original one above) that shows how Manchester has changed since 1996, the year of the IRA bomb.

Beetham and Manchester city centre in the distance, Salford Quays and Mediaicty in the foreground, and the ever expanding Metrolink network. Great stuff.

With a little hep from Photoshop.

Shamefully not changed much since this was taken 4 years ago. (1GWQ still has its main TC)

Yep me too... I think it looks ok from Sky Plaza right untill the where the red brick section ends, the rest is just crap.

Portsmouth just needs one or two more 100m+ towers and its skyline will look so much better!
Preferably to the right of the Spinnaker on the photo.

Funny how a poor quality pic taken from my phone of Manchester happens to be one of the only skyline shots to make Manchester look like it has a skyline.

Well it's clear Manchester has more than enough buildings to have at least one great shot but so far no one has found it.

Wakefield tower is looking great from that angle, but not a good skyline shot overall. It is a pity really, but that is mainly do the most notable buildings being the uni buildings, which are shockingly shite
