That is a good angle because it shows what the city centre ridge tall zone looks like from the side (almost)

There was a decent one somewhere, taken from a plane I think. You could see Cobv, with Rugby in the foreground and Brum/Black Country in the distance.

Leeds from up a tree somewhere.

This includes the tallest tower on any British skyline, the 1083ft Emley Moor TV transmitter

(I'm only kidding, I know it doesn't count)

It's a weird picture because Leeds is on a hill sloping down, everything looks dead close together.

That is such a strange image; I realise Leeds City Centre is more in the south of the city than the north, but its not that close to the country! Its a very strange angle; there is some urban area south of the centre! It also makes the city centre look tiny and buildings small.

It's a cracking photo I reckon. Look how close BWP and Tower North appear, in reality they are over a mile apart as the crow flies.

The centre is in the south, you only have to go probably under 5 miles before you reach some countryside in the SW (where that view is looking towards)

No I just googled "map Leeds" to show LeedsNo1 how far from the centre of Leeds Leeds city centre is, and the southwesterly looking perspective of that photo

I doubt it's all that accurate, just an impression of the shape of the city in the south.

In fact, it's a totally bollocks map looking at Temple Newsam and Roundhay
