^ in late 80's Hungary was like western world for us here. Private enterprise was allowed there so I remember my mom when being in junket in Budapest back then told us there were private shops on the streets and overall it looked much less "grey" than Prague. Hungary was simply more reformed and opened to western world and it's capital compared to our rigid commies. I remember there was famous Queen concert in Budapest as well, something impossible in Prague since western bands were not welcomed here...

Grand Prix Brno

This is the most unique commieblock house from Brno. This house is original, only has new facade with thermal insulation. It was used as restaurant "Grand Prix".











I have idea.
