One of them should be in Bratislava in plot of Slovnaft rafinery. That's what I call globalisation.

MOL is a big player in the region. And it is not state property, gov just wants it under hungarian control

Thats what I meant. MOL probably wants the refinery to be self-sufficient with electricity.

Well, I think it will only spoil the surroundings even more than present rafinery. In Slovakia is planned construction of 4 nuclear reactors so this powerplant will be useless (OK, maybe for MOL it will be better to use its own electricity). I'm personally rather for nuclear energy than steam-gas.

Here,MOL builds geothermal plants. I'm for nuclear too,but that costs a hella lot of money to build. And dont count on that austrians will let you go undisturbed with it.

Those powerplants are going to bue built in Mochovce and Jaslovské Bohunice. In bith locations are already nuclear powerplants. Jaslovské Bohunice should be swithced down because of f*cking EU and new reactors will be there. They will use infrastructure of non-rector parts of the powerplant. In Mochovce are two reactors which construction was stopped in 90' because of money. Now they will be only finnished. So I really don't care about some Austrian ecoterrorist bands payed by western monopols.

small nuclear reactor for every austrian village!

Why slovakia isn't more to hydro, solar and wind power? You have suitable position 4 all... why do u need nuclear power plants?

Because we don't have suitable position for that. Solar energy is extremely expansive and not effective. Wind is strong enough probably only in Záhorie. Hydro powerplants are already built where it's possible. There are planned some on Hron and Ipeľ but only small. The only ecological energy for Slovakia is nuclear.

I saw news Yesterday about news solar system from Israel very cheap and possibly hundreds times more effective then todays solar systems and the cost of his method is equivalent to conventional electricity-generating plants!!

That's good news. But, I think more effective it would be in Israel and other desert countries. Look out from your window and what you see? Probably cloads. How much electricity are producing those solar panels in today weather? The same for wind energy. Both are not stable enough.

Velice zajímavá čísla. Ikdyž se to přímo nedotýká ekonomiky. Czech only.
