as Fabrizio said, most of them are in Italy, the others are on the border (and you see the Italian side)

I travelled through the Italian Alps in October and it was one of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen!

It's under construction, few floors to complete it. Skyscraper is a part of new CityLife District: along it will be built Il Curvo and Lo Storto.

You're welcome in Milan

Next year from May to October, you can visit Milan in occasion of the World Expo. Then you can visit Florence, Pisa, Venice, Verona, Rome, Turin, Genoa, Naples or some fabulous gems of southern Italy, just to give you an example. Good luck

ITThomas, not to derail the thread but is the World Expo free? I'll be studying in Bologna as you know until next May and would love to visit. This tower is gorgeous as usual. Milan's skyline has really grown lately. Definitely Top 5 in Europe by now (after London, Frankfurt, Paris and Moscow)

No mate. To give you an example, you can buy your ticket already by May 15, 2014, on the web or in Expo Gate. The price will be € 39, but thanks to discounts for seniors, organized groups and students, the price will be € 22 (If I'm not wrong). Then there will be special tickets for visits Expo on weekdays (to push visitors to not clog the area during weekend), special prices for long visits, and also for the "EXPO by night" (which promises to be eventful). Even around city center you will can enjoy a series of special day events, between the typical events of Milan.

Awesome, thanks IThomas! I'll see if I can go with an organized tour with my uni but even then €22 is ridiculously cheap for an international event of such high stature so I'll definitely check it out next May before I return to the states. So excited!
