No, the first pict is Hadid residential complex, while the second one is from Libeskind residential towers

Im not a huge fan of skyscrapers in Italy especially Milan.
The reason millions come to Italy is for its AMAZING architecture....having such buildings dont suit Italy
But well done, they are nice buildings

There is a place for new and old in any large European city. I agree that the other shape is more interesting, but i'm glad this is above 200m

I live in Milan and I 've been in NYC so I can give a judgment.

Milan is different from other italian city, like e.g. Rome or Florence, outside centrum is quite a new and modern city.

A skyscraper in Milan is not strange and "far" like a gothic cathedral in NYC. Milan is more various than NYC.

most European cities are a lot more varied than american ones. If "museum cities" like London and Paris can have skyscrapers, then any other european one can have them too, proportionate to the city's size obviously
