Do you know how many skyscrapers are going to be built in Milan until 2015?

Well, a little reminder:
Pelli tower- 215 m- U/C
Varesine 1st tower- 150m- prep
Varesine 2nd tower- 140m- prep
Boeri tower- 110m- prep
il Dritto- 220m- prep
lo Storto- 190m- prep
il Curvo- 170m- prep
Duilio Tower- 130m- prep
Arduino Tower- 100m- prep
Varesine 3d tower- 100m- prep

and we still have got the Comune tower to project, and the Milanone (around 210m) which has been approved. It is going to be one of the best skyline in Europe, maybe not the highest one, but still one of the best.
good summary

Ok, then tell me how Milan should beat following skylines in the next years:

-Frankfurt
-London
-Paris
-Warsaw
-Rotterdam
-Istanbul
-Moscow
-Madrid
-Barcelona

Maybe after 7th or 8th of the mentioned town, Milano can come up with some skyscrapers. But they really will not beat the 6th first one, which are lined up here. How should it be in this case one of the best? Maybe the 7th or 8th best?
How much of the mentioned skyscrapers are "just" planned and which of this are really approved and still fixed fur build up?

All mentioned skyscrapers are fixed for build up. Construction works have precise timetables and in most cases will start soon.
Maybe Milan will be a step under Frankfurt, Moscow and London in terms of height of buildings, but you also have to consider the quality of buildings...

Just turn right on via Galvani...the Altra Sede Tower can be seen from the rialway station, anyway, so it's easy to get there!

From my point of view, Milan would come with all this projects under the top 10 of European skylines, but no chance to come under the top 5 (e.g. to beat Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rotterdam and Warsaw, probably also Madrid).
If you tell something different, you are maybe related with Berlusconi and can tell that bullshit is gold.
And also consider, that not only Milan plans to build a lot of towers, also the other European towns don`t sleep.

I think that Milan has good chance to enter the top 5. I know that not only Milan is building, but for what I see all around Milan's skyline is one of the skylines that will improve the most.

thanks andrew za ..I LOVE the the view U see in second one, with the contrasting / overlapping curves.

The most amazing feature of this building is indeed how it is "dynamic", how it looks totally different depending on the point of view: even moving a few meters makes a big difference.

I have visited in the last 3 years all these cities except for Madrid and Moscow. Plus I lived in Milan, Barcelona, London (and was often in Frankfurt as I lived in Berlin) ps: I have been to Basel too, nice city!

With all the skyscrapers of the list above (not to mention there are more in their way) Milan will be in position 4th after Paris.

Warsaw skyline is not so huge (it's for sure less than 10 towers over 100 meters) and most of the towers are cubic shaped / which for me affects the beauty of the skyline as well. Rotterdam skyline is for sure bigger than the one of Warsaw and I would position it higher, so it's Istanbul's. Barcelona (I live here, probably the most beautiful city in Europe with a few brand new towers in Diagonal and 1 at the harbor, but skyline needs to be more compact).

I would like to point out, that within all these cities, only Frankfurt has a real skyline in the city centre, London has a nice one too in the city, but the real one is in CW, Paris in la Defense. Milan will have most of his towers in the city.

From there I would do my personal list as follow:

Europe 2015

Metro area skylines
-Paris/London/Moscow(if all projects built Moscow first ldn par 2nd)
-Frankfurt
-Milan (including Milanofiori and other projects in metro areas)
-Istanbul
-Rotterdam
-Warsaw
-Madrid
-Barcelona

Inner city skylines
-Frankfurt
-Milan
-London
-Rotterdam
-Warsaw
-Paris
-Istanbul
-Moscow
-Madrid
-Barcelona
