In most pictures you can see Mount Ararat. Turkey's highest mountain.

Nice pics, love that mountain. Overall impression is similar to Georgia, but without the latest Georgian progress in constructions and renovations.

Here is an interesting fact, I never knew about this:

The Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic also known as the Transcaucasion Federation) (February 1918 – May 1918) was a short-lived state comprised of the modern-day countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

Hayastan means Armenia in Armenian language...

Ararat was Armenian mountain till First World War... I was in Erevan in 1999... It wonderfull city and wonderfull people.

These Armenian churhces are tottaly amazing......
the colour of the rock and the unique type of their architectures made them gorgeous.....if i ever find the oportunity to visit Armenia will be the highlight of my visit......i would like to see how they are inside too....
