You would think that a country as "advanced" as North Korea would just install traffic lights since they are so much cheaper instead of "droping traffic platforms from the sky". Anyways maybe they can make those "traffic girls" direct traffic topless.

Someone posted a pic of a useless light in Romania.

Heres one in Massachusetts

It has a red left turn arrow....but there's a sign saying you can turn left on red anyway.

It's not quite useless though. When it's on red, you know the cross traffic has a green, so you need to yield to them.

Exactly. This is no different from turning right at a red light, which is allowed in most of Canada and the US.

Everything that you see in this video may be total BS, from the "policewoman", to the traffic in the background. You wouldn't believe how far communists would go to in order to "create reality".

If it's a red light, and not one of those weird multi-lights that might show a red and a green at the same time, you have to treat it like a stop sign in that case.

They probably stole the idea from Taiwan where every crosswalk is fitted with that kind of traffic lights.

Edit: At least all the traffic lights I saw were like that in Taiwan.

Sorry, my fault, I thought about the numbers counting down, not the moving green figure. Sorry again.
