I really like this building. When is it slated for construction?

I love this tower. I think it is a great residential high rise.

I don't think anyone is sure when or if it will start construction. Last big news was that the developer was trying to add a hotel to the project to counter the poorer than expected sales.

That building is fantastic. I sure hope it gets built.

I absolutely love this building as well. It is sort of like the graceful older sibling to the Kilbourn Tower.

It's still unsure when this building will break ground. I do have to say it has an impressive sun deck with the pool, spa, plantings and dog park on the 11th floor

I have been in love with this building for quite some time. Its got such a cool design and the colors and materials are wonderful.

Ground breaking is taking waaaaaay too long.

Hopefully some info will break soon. Representatives from the Four Seasons hotel group have been in town recently and it is known that The Nicollet has been trying to secure a hotel partner. The project is located in a highly desirable part of downtown. However, they still have a ways to go in getting enough signed purchase agreements to begin construction.

Looks like it'll add a lot to the skyline. In the photoshopped rendering, it looks like the curved element down the side of the tower will be lit... That would look awesome.

The curved "fin" will be lit at night.

Just an FYI...

The very first image posted at the top of this thread shows the older version of the tower, when it was 46 stories. It was expanded to 54 stories over a year ago, and the image posted by MilwaukeeMark is much closer to the final design.

I just love that curvilinear design to the tower. It makes it stand out more.

I generally like this tower, but I think the stone on the south face takes away from the design. They couldn't have used metal panels (Or whatever they use on all glass residentials) that matched the glass?

We haven't heard anything good or bad really. I'm assuming they're still looking for tenants and financing like exit said, but they were also trying to sign a hotelier to take up some of the space. The fact that we haven't heard anything isn't a very good sign though so I really wouldn't be surprised if this project falls apart or gets redesigned in response to the sluggish market.
