SUBWAY Of ALGIERS completed work of civil engineering July 09, 2007 the subway of Algiers will see the end of the tunnel September 2008 as envisaged. Indeed, the work of civil engineering has been just completed to 100% this June 2007 and the 3e phase is in the process of start for the extension of the line starting from Haï El Badr. As, can one say as the adventure of the subway of Algiers draws at its end. The 1st phase (El Hamma-Hated El Badr), required an investment of 18 million euros in the material, all confused machines. It includes/understands a boring of line being stretched on 4,1km and the realization of four stations by the grouping algéro-German of Algerian right Gaama which are the Garden of Tests, the street of Fusillés, the Amirouche city and the Mer city and Sun. The second phase is characterized by the construction of 2,8km of tunnel and four stations (Bachdjerrah 1 and 2, El Harrach-Station and El Harrach-Center). This section is characterized by construction from a 252 m length viaduct which overhangs the motorway with height of Ouchaïah wadi, by the boring of a tunnel under the wadi El Harrach with more than 20 meters of depth as well as the construction of an air part between Bachdjerrah and El Harrach. Today, the 3e phase of work can start as soon as the ministry for Transport endorses the financial offer of Gaama which is 30 million euros, less expensive than its competitors. It can be prided on a trained personnel, extremely of 1800 individuals framed by around fifty of German engineers. It is at the time of a press conference, behaviour yesterday morning in Algiers, that Mahieddine Issaâd, deputy manager of work, informed of certain details on the long walk of the subway of Algiers from which feasibility made say to an impatient of Algiers population (and especially badly transported) that it would never see the day nor the end of the tunnel. They are only rumours there because work goes good train and no delay is recorded on the delivery date which remains fixed at September 2008. No serious delay was met, indeed, in spite of grinds which had difficulties, inter alia, with the complexity of the geology of the capital which undergoes very great pressures of makes of water of the wadis and underground tablecloths. The ground is also strewn with old masonries which were likely to collapse with the least "blow of pickaxe", a circulation of the heavy lorries of provisioning and large machines restricted and limited 19h to 7h of the morning are as many points which could have delayed work, but it of it was nothing. A point however deserves to be underlined, "No major incident was not announced to date!", , with pride, Issaâd affirmed. New investments will be injected into a new material to replace the material already used and become too old after two years of intense use explained Daniel Fauquenberque, regional manager of Dywidag, leader of the Gaama group. Currently, six shovels general purpose excavators are in action but three others will be bought without delay to renew this park on the way to be garaged.

Constantine, Oran and Annaba

So Constantine is for the italians, Oran for the spanish... And Annaba, for the chinese?

Who will win Constantine? Alstom again?

And Oran: Siemens?

All metro and light rail projects are always divided between them, so...
