Your thoughts and views on the Beetham Tower, Manchester, UK

I wasn't really sure if i like the building and from talking to my friends they don't know if they like it or not.

Height 168.87m (554 ft)
Built 2004 - 2006
Floors 48
Location Manchester, England

mm i think it may be one of those buildings which look gorgeous in renderings but not as cool in reality.

I think it's ok, I wouldn't want it in London, it wouldn't fit in, but for the empty Manchester skyline, it looks like it suits it well! And of course it's paving the way for more Manc towers!

Cool from some angles, ugly from others.

Height is obviously amazing for a northern English city.

Overall then, a positive addition to the skyline - but it does seem rather thin and awkward from the sides. I would have preferred to see something with slightly more bulk and a more solid, stable look.
