Actually, as an Azerbaijani, i enjoyed it. Thanks to Arash for what he did.

I don't see why it would be bad from an Iranian point of view?

Everyone know hes Iranian, don't worry.

Also, the Azeri girl he is singing with is "Aysal Teymurzadeh." Do many Azeris have Iranian suffixes and names or could she be of Iranian descent?
Zade ending names aren't that rare in Azerbaijan.

For exampele our prime ministers name is Artur Rasizade.

That is interesting. "zade" in farsi means "to be born of", kinda like Arabic "ibn." For instance "Teymurzade" means "offspring of Teymur." Does it have the same meaning in Azeri?

In Azeri, offspring is doghan. Zade = doghan. They are probably named like that in Azerbaijan Republic because it was under Iranian influence for a long time.

Hi, not sure if it's the right topic to post my question, but anyway.. couldn't you help me with identifying one old song, probably from 60's or 70's? Somewhy i think it was written by some armenian singer (i don't think it was Vigen), though i could be mistaken. I just remember its refrain to start with smth like

hala beraghs o afsoon bokon...

There's also much of dance music in that song.
Unfortunately don't quite remember anything more
Thank yoou!

The first National Anthem of Iran was composed by J. B. Lemaire in the time of Naseraddin Shah. It was originally composed for a piano solo and played only once during the journey of that Shah to France. This hymn is rearranged and composed by Siavah Beizai. The introduction, the middle part and the end part of this piece don't belong to Lemair are but composed by Siavash Beizai, which serve as a formal and musical strenthening of a real National Anthem. The lyric is from Bizhan Taraghghi, written for this arrangement. This is the first complete performance of this anthem by a woman.
So, it's not the original anthem but a reimagination.
