Hey Folks....I was looking for an old iranian tune " bacha nasho aie dil ishq a faromosh kon...taa nashawee gomraah ...bas a dega gosh kon...shola ra khamosh kun"....anyone heard of this song and who sang it? It is a very old tune which an afghan singer sang in afghanistan back in the late 70's (ahmad zahir).

Not really Iranian, but famous Afghan singer Ahmad Wali performing in Shiraz in 1974( Poem from Hafiz shirazi).

Another Famous Afghan Female singer Mawash performing in Tehran, Iran in 1978. The background might seem familar because a few songs of Googosh and Laila Ferouher have the same background

I don't think Iranian tune was used in that song!

plus, no one would have heard of it here!!

Hi guys I have a few questions. I like persian songs etc and listen to them to try and understand spoken persian better (as i have to pass exams in it next year!)

the term 'ba namaki' in songs always confuses me. with salt?! :P

va mishe kesi kalamate in ahang ro tu farsi benevise? mikham tarjomesh konam vali fahmidane har kalameh baram sakht ast. in ahang kheyli ghashang ast
