Wow this thing really will look fantastic at night with the braces shown. Im really looking forward to seeing some views from the Ob Deck once it's complete. A night view from that high will look fantastic.

I just can't get over the structural system of this tower, this tower was a joy to watch go up, and soon, the topout, i wonder if they put a pine tree up like we do here in the U.S. upon topout.?

Srry all I know it's off topic but I have to ask, what do you mean put a pine tree up? In the U.S. you plant a pine tree when you top out a building? Or even weirder do you put a pine on the top floor? I've never heard of this. Or am I being too literal here?

You'll find explanations of the tree topping ceremony here:

Topping out!!! Tree hoisting ceremony

Thanks for the pics guys.

Well back in the day, when a skyscraper was topped out, or the last uppermost piece of steel was put in place, that last piece was hoisted up with a pine tree attatched, to give the building good luck, and once in place the ironworkers would toast the building with a shot of whiskey. (the shot of whiskey part is no longer done of course...................or so they say......)

Oh yea, the tree comes down after a few days, becouse it's dead at that point.

I think columns are topped out. Level 100 skybridge is under construction, after that top structure/bracing to secure the whole thing and the building will be topped out.
