Yeah, this looks more like a political statement than art, and I think its tasteless.

"Look everyone I shot some arrows into some clear sculptures of modern skyscrapers and now I get snooty art snobs to come and look at the arrows and buildings. I AM A WINNER AT LIFE!!! HAHAHAAAA!!!" - It looks less like a political statement and more like a colossal waste of time and space. The person who made it is in desperate need of a life.

We can see now all the hole & skybridge underlines.

All other temporary steel girders will be removed. The top bracing is really massive The biggest truss I've ever seen.

The building is topped out at roof. It will be a bit more higher when the cladding is finished.

street life in pudong is kind of boring, all offices buildings. everyone goes to puxi for entertainment or etc. hope there are some changes these days. my conclusion about pudong is from my perception there during 2001. anyway, it is 2007 now.

T/O I would say. It's a tradition to place a flag on a building when you've reached its highest point
Now I can't wait till they'll remove the supports and the cranes. I guess we'll see that happen in the next weeks.

The top of the building is virtualized by the three small poles on a tripod, placed on the roof... topping the construction @ 492m.

Fake in what sense? Its tonal values are edited to remove the smog. When you increase the contrast you will also increase noise. Its Shanghai from top to bottom. You should have read the posts above yours.

SWFC is a great piece of architecture!
