All other temporary steel girders will be removed. The top bracing is really massive The biggest truss I've ever seen.

The building is topped out at roof. It will be a bit more higher when the cladding is finished.
This is a great moment in highrise history!

But when will they add the lower skybridge? Because (even without the steel girders in the center) there doesn't seem to be a place where the bridge could be linked to the huge steel frame on either side. At least I don't see a rectangular opening there...

there are 18,670,000 people in shanghai, and only 0.3% of the population in shanghai signed that letter (so only three people did it out of 1000 people).

and those are probably old people who are single minded and cant accept anything new and creative.

btw. most of the shanghainess do not care about swfc...they think as it is another building in lujiazui and no one certainly think it is an opener of any sort, they are thoses crap companies who copied the design of swfc and produced them afterwards

it's funny.
1) basic logic: 0.3% of population signed = 0.3% of population agree? i think not.
2) "no one certainly think it is an opener of any sort" ..well, i DO. and remember: you cant represente the public opinion of ShangHai, you can have one but dont dream everybody else thinks the same as you do. and i think my opinion about the opener is "creative ", and i hope you are not " probably old people who are single minded and cant accept anything new and creative"
3)more importantly: i've make clear that i dont care about the design, i just show you there's such an public opinion which i think is somekind of funny, you can agree with or not, but surely please dont cry out like somebody "old who is single minded and cant accept anything new and creative"

4) so let's concentrate on the building itself and keep whatching its growth.

i think its not necessary an 'excuse', it's just for fun. and finish. i think it looks like an opener, well, you dont think so? its ok.

What I finding spectacular about this building is that every angle seems to make it a different looking building from the other. These latest shots at night angled up to the top makes the SWFC look mammoth with a hulking chest. From afar it looks like just a tall thin column.

ok, im gonna try and say this as nicely as i can. But the renderings of this building seem to resemble a certain feature of a woman that men don't posses.

There will be an access by escalator from level 94 up. Check the diagrams & virtual footages.

All the top of the building is considered as an observatory since level 94 up.

94/95 will be a large exhibition room/observatory, linked to level 97 skybridge from inner with a big escalator.

Level 100 skybridge will be direct access from ground with high speed elevators located in the lateral "mega"columns.

None of the observatory bridges will be open air. Too windy I presume.

I love the fact that it actually has a flat roof instead of ending at something like a spire. You can actually stand on top of this building.

lol, thats not the only good thing about it..it would look taller than buildings end with a spire that have the same height, even taller.

hmm i think it would look taller than WTC and taipei 101?

Now I got it, thanx.
This escalator down to level 95 can be overlooked easily. For instance it seems to be lacking in the 3D model in post #3149. A lateral access to the level 97 skybridge would have been more elegant IMO.
