the square is much more comfortable as an observation deck ... coz the hole would be a giant wheel ... and i dont need movment if i take some nightshoots of shanghai ... so u can stand on a taller position ... cant wait to visit the tower ... the tower gonna make me horny muhaha

man, this tower is so cool. it has such a powerful design. and that opening at the top is just asking for a small plane to fly through it!

so they would have the hight observation deck in Shanghai....but how bout the only sky walk.....image it...going from one side of the hole to the other...of course it couldnt be half was up or anything but a good 20 feet from the start of the gap.....CAN YA FEEL THE WIND IN YOUR HAIR AT 1600FT.

The hole on top helps to defuse the windload on the building, so it is not just a design feature.

If the building stopped at the bottom of the hole the wind load would be less so it obviously is there to make this building unique.
