That video shows how well that whole tower is designed with its shopping mall and confrence center. The video showed, that the last observatory deck is at 100th floor. What's the 101st floor meant for? On the lower side of the whole up there it says there's a bigger obrservatory deck. According to the video, it includes four floors. How's that possible and how is that wise to use four floors just for that?

I didn't know they have so many things in one skyscraper. I've got to get there sometime. Before that, I'm sure someone can get there when it's finished, and take few pics

Wow amazing photos. The one from the top at sunset makes me abit dizzy just looking at it.
I'd be terrified stood all the way up there with just a small rail between me and 100 storeys.

haha thanks

shanghai would be great by 2010 when all the u/c are finished

the way the skyline of shanghai look totally depend on where the photo is taken, since Lujiazui is like a peninsula therefore different angle = different look

Nah. I think HK Skyline is way way better but you might be right of the NYC Skyline though. But if those two WTC Towers are still standing, I may change my mind. I may rank Shanghai as #3 best with HK as #1 and Chicago #2.

I would say SWFC. It stays fatter farther up, and steel is a lot heavier than reinforced concrete.

shanghai is very nice and modern but i wouldn't put it above nyc. it lacks the density and massive size of nyc's skyline....... but the neons are very pretty yes

anyways not the place to discuss this

Yeah, I hope Shanghai get's some density in Pudong. If you could mix Pudong with Manhattan that would make the perfect combination of density with supertalls. Shanghai lacks density (clusters of 500-1000ft buildings) while New York is very lacking in supertall structures especially after September 11th, 2001.

Pudong is only the CBD of Shanghai, how about the other size of the river, the larger Puxi?

I stand (actually sit) corrected. That is some beautiful density. I do tend to forget that Pudong is a relatively new development so it needs some time to develop lower level density if it ever will. That picture is like Manhattan multiplied by 15.
