I love the tower and it's looking really good, I just think the skyline would have looked nicer if SWFC was a bit further away from Jin Mao, the skyline would have looked nicer since sometimes SWFC overlaps with Jin Mao

Relative heights of SWFC, Jin Mao and Oriental Pearl accurate due to distance.

It's interesting how the facade and fenestration of Jin Mao now look quite fussy in comparison to the sleekness of WFC.

-> see pic

the weather isn't so good for shanghai recently, apparently it's experiencing something only the northern china should experience, but then again shanghai isn't really that south, it's kinda in the middle.

This gives an idea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_damper

Basically, it helps to minimize vibration.

Some new pictures.

Here are some new pictures I took from the observation deck of the Jin Mao Tower (88th floor, 340 meter) on april 9th.

The three last pictures are stitched together to get a better view.

The last picture is a view of the Huangpu river towards the south.

Enjoy!
