Wow, that shot is so......
colorful
that's futuristic
It seems Shanghai and Hongkong are colorful
while Beijing is single color in its CBD district

Great finds, Kix

The last shot is ~2 days old.
I see on local live webcam this morning that top part cladding is almost complete.
Can't wait they put down this crane to make an end

Podium looks great

Installing access slopes and cleaning surroundings. Starting cleaning the facade.

Overall cladding will be finished within a few days, except the crane location. Opening soon I guess

The recent highrise buildings shouldn't be affected at this distance from epicentre
Even if closer.

The upper observation deck's cladding is nearly done.

Btw, today i watched a documentry about SWFC on Discovery Channel. I heard that this tower and the whole Pudong is not constructed on a solid ground and an earthquake may seriously damage the building. Can it be true?

What is the programme called?

It all depends on soil type and underground pore pressures. I suspect the soil under SWFC is something clayey or silty, which do not normally have major settlement problems during an earthquake (like sands). However, in the event of an earthquake pore pressures may shoot up and may possibly cause failure. This was mitigated by the high pumping rate (in Shanghai the water pumped out of the aquifer is 1.3 times the rate of recharge) and settlement has occurred at places in the order of 7.5cm per decade due to groundwater level drawdown, but the settlement itself is a problem to deal with. Note that the pumping isn't an intended way of mitigating earthquake effects.
