Can't wait to see it in person in September!

I can't wait to visit Shanghai-- I think it's going to become my new obsession.

Definitely. People forget what scale supertalls are operating in. The dwarfed apartment buildings surrounding them are huge themselves.

Will there be an observation deck open by then? In September?

blue giant...

This tower must be quite easy to climb compared to other skyscrapers with the horizontal things sticking out between each glasses on the exterior.

So what are those horizontal things sticking out between glasses? Are they simply for design or have function?

I know the mech floors, I meant those horizontal things sticking out EVERY floor.

In this photo if you look at the glasses above the trapezium hole at the very middle right, those horizontals things are missing, what are those horizontal things?

This is very risky for people like Alain Roberts.

Read news on SWFC, it will debut at the end of August and the all-glass observation deck is amazing.

So official heights for both skybridges are 439m. for the lower and 474m. for the upper = world highest.
