Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.

with those sun preventing things on top of every glass panels throughout the tower, it must attract Alain Roberts, there is no way he's not gonna climb this tower. Unless China doesn't allow it.

After seeing the pictures from cmoonflyer i understand what a documentation on CNN about this building and Mori mentioned. It mentioned that Mori is a theatrical person and want´s to create a structure in Shanghai which is an extraordinary building and will give the visitors interesting perspectives.

Furthermore he wanted to build something tangible to everyone. The hotel guests, the office workers and Ob-Deck visitors. If you look carefully on cmoonflyers pictures, you can see all this aims beeing acchieved.

Especially those pictures lookking down the Jin mao building are showing that this is a wondeful and exciting building.

The changing from the circular hole to the rectangle was a very good decission, allthough the idea from having a ferries wheel at this altitute was great. But the glas floor is also something special, allthough this is not the first building having one.

Even the podium is very neat. It has so many details. This building is for me something like China´s Empire State Building, a building which resembles a nation more than any other building. The Shanghai Center will be taller, but if it will have the same charme, we have to be patient.

A very great building, thakns for everyone contributing to this thread, for everyone posting news. The following of the construction was very great.

mhhhhh i think i fell in love with this building........

Why did they decide to put a huge skyscraper development near it then, in this day and age? The water does look filthy.

yangtizi river water do looks like this colour. a lot of soil mixed in the water. that has little to do with pollution.

The city just happens to be built on the river, and for good reason. The Yangtze is one of the busiest rivers in the world in terms of river traffic (I think 2nd after the Mississippi).

Although the water probably is quite filthy, even in it's "cleanest" state the Yangtze is still going to be brown. Except during the amazing annual reverse current Hangzhou Bay Tidal Bore.
