Don't know if it was discussed before, but I like the design of the World Financial Center standing by itself; I feel that the other tall building next to it disrupts the aesthetic look of the bottle-opener-looking design.

I think you`re right Culwulla. When we have a section for Proposed Supertalls, than we should have a section for Completed Supertalls.

Shanghai skyline in 2014 ...

__________________
We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.

Very cool rendering! I like the design of third supertall but I think it would look better if it get built somewhere else in Shanghai not too close to other two supertalls.

This is hardly the skyline in 2014. The original photo is from the early 2000s. Several additional tower have been completed since then (and would be visible in the rendering), and add to that all the proposed and u/c towers that aren't shown;

Nah its perfect, fits together really well. If it was build somewhere else in shanghai it'd be much taller than its surrounding building. The place where its build now is the right place.

Without any lightening rods on top of this building, how does it disperse the lightening?

Perfect Rendering
For Shanghai and Dubai is not need to reach 2014 to see huge changes in skyline of both cities
