Who knows... construction of the top seems a bit tricky... but yes, hope to see it topped out in september or october.

so level 91 it's only at the beginning and level 90 needs to be finalized but we are on the right track with the construction here

Yes, top of level 90/bottom of level 91 has to be filled with steel slabs (like it has been done on level transitition 87/88), after that construction will resume to go higher, without central core. The mechanical floors 88/90 are strongly reinforced to support heavy load of mass dampers, that's quite noticeable on recent updates.

I guess we'll have two smaller cores near the angles by now, matching the shape around the "hole".

Sky, how much time do you spend finding these photos everyday? However much time, thank you a lot. You've always got some great stuff.

Also, does anyone know when the two cores will rise? (Sorry if this has already been covered.)

Core rising will resume when the big mech floor will be completed (upper steel slabs), but I don't know exactly when and what kind of design it will be.

I'm browsing on flickr every day, it's relatively quick when you sort by "most recents": if you make it often, you browse pics of the day only, and that's it.

Shanghai is very touristic, you find a lot of pics of Pudong, Pudong from the Bund, Jin Mao, Pearl tower etc., from where people cannot miss the 2 central giants

Skymyhusband,
Are you noting when the pictures has been taken, or when they were uploaded? A picture uploaded today could theoretically been taken five years ago.
I guess most tourist photos of Pudong are at least some days old when uploaded to Flickr.

I give the day when the picture is taken (or said as...), and I check the construction progress to be sure. A mistake is always possible...

I'm posting only a few pics among the dozens available every day And yes, some of them are outdated, I found this morning a shot of Jin Mao, with SWFC as an underground hole , and the pic has been uploaded today...

I'm posting also outdated pics when there is any interest "inside"
