Now topped at level 96. Next progress will be the hole

Installing supports for external cranes?

Construction will slow down if the two core cranes are removed for construction of the top aperture.

I thinck you were right the tower cranes will go down ..we'll have a small crane that finishes the final touches if I thinck about it now your theory was very right..because it's imposible to construct a middle bridges and a middle roof floors..with having two cranes in the core of the building they will go down now...beacause the suspended bridge and level 100 and 101 can't be completed with these tower cranes it's all clear to me now

I think *two* cranes on this side, and maybe 2 others back side.

So as I see it from now we're not going to have to much progress on the tower because they will mount the new crane(s) ..and also in order to finish level 97 wich is a complex one (the bridge) we need to get the tower cranes down....but there is another posibility they might make the sides of the tower with the tower cranes...till level 100 but I see no reason for doing that because the smaller crane(s) can take the job (it depends how small is the crane(s))

Yes, that makes sense. But I don't understand how the small cranes will be attached to the structure while constructing the hole? That's why I thought they could be attached on the external columns.

Wait and see... Anyway, core cranes are needed to build up those smaller cranes, they will go down afterwards.

Scaffolding of the concrete corner lines have been removed. Cranes do not increase height anymore.

We're almost there! The next challenge is its interior. For sure, it would take an extra couple of years.

Almost ...remaining all the top structure, to be topped early fall.
SWFC is planned to be "open" on march 2008.

You mean, while they are building it on the way up, they are also doing its interior?

I wish the developers in my country and my city would do the same thing. Here, they would finish the structure first, then followed by the exterior, and they would start doing the interior last.

It's planned this way on ICC Hong Kong, lower floors / offices will be in use before the tower is topped out.

I think that inner work begins as soon as cladding is installed. Lower floors of swfc have been finished for more than a year... I imagine somebody works on finishing in there
