Who's going to verify if it's 491.9m or 492.1m?

So, I'm very pleased with 492m, without any spire.

Great class. And the tallest obdeck @ 472m, all glass and near 360° view... + skybridge + Exhibition room/observatory @ level 94, I think a lot of people will visit that phenomenal building

It will be as iconic for Shanghai as the Eiffel Tower for Paris, with more facilities. Thousands and thousands of visitors expected
When you see the lot of pictures available on flickr taken either from Oriental Pearl Tower or Jin Mao, I guess we'll get some great panos from SWFC when finished.

I do construction and this sounds quite ridiculous to me.

Yeah I used to think Jin Mao was huge until SWFC rose.

I was guessing something happens on this side watching the webcam yesterday, but I was not sure (bad resolution).
But with this pic, we can see the first vertical pillar starting hole construction. Thanks Whoami, you've been a privilegiate witness

I'll be watching flickr 24/24

Thanks Aboveday, seems to be clear that only one crane will be used for last section, maybe the other location will be used by a smaller recovery crane.

Willl be easier with the square aperture design
