Basically they cut a whole bunch of flights when the were in/going into bankrupcty including Hong Kong and London. They also cut flights to Hawaii and various domestic flights. The flight to Honolulu has come back though. It is only once weekly though unfortunately. Hawaii is not a problem though as both Hawaiian Air and Northwest serve Honolulu twice daily. They both also serve Kahalui Daily and Northwest serves Kona daily.

I know me too!!!! I mean its great to even have that service in the first place... but really International carriers interest me so much more than US carriers... thats why I wish the Seattle-Amsterdam flight was KLM and not Northwest... owell at least we have it...

you should tell them to write a letter to Qantas asking them if they have any plans to expand service to Seattle... then ask them what their response was...

While I would also like to see additional international non-stops from Sea-Tac, it really does come down to economics. Seattle is nicely positioned to be a natural global stop, but with today's jet capacities, Seattle can easily be bypassed. Forty years ago, jets had to make stops. Today, they can fly just about anywhere, (not yet around the globe), non-stop. Seattle can continue to grow in this area, but it is the city and the metro area that make it worthwhile, not just a convenient fuel-stop.

Hey, off topic, but related to all the talk of Australia. Did anyone catch the story about Washington State and Western Australia cross promoting their wine industries? No joke, but several of the slogans that the Australians came up with before the hook-up: Drink WA and The other WA.

I can do that. You should do that too. I am sure Sea-Tac would appeciate to hear more than just one supporter. If they recieve more supporters then they will consider it.
