No I know it is. But on the website it says 'imagining Templar Arcade' as a caption beneath the image. Therefore indicating the design/concept is one that could be applied to Templar Street and not a current proposal for Briggate.

Would really like to see more full images of these proposed towers.
I think the full tower shown on the right of the image is the shortest! The 23 storey hotel.

I disagree - it'll be far more fun to watch 2x 100m towers grow without any idea of what they're going to look like. The bases of the towers look quite decent so the rest of the buildings should be of the same quality!

Its seems a very long time since we have seen any renders for major new Leeds schemes. This looks fantastic.

I'm not sure that tower on the right is the hotel. Three of the blocks share a common podium while the hotel is a freestanding block facing onto Regent Street, and I think it's behind the right hand block as seen in the render. |

It's not easy to tell, but the block on the right in the render could be on a seperate podium, ie there could be a gap through the podiums at ground level but it wouldn't really show up on that render. Also the heights from left to right are 29 floors, 40 floors, 34 floors and 23 floors, and that one appears to be about 23 floors in the reneder. The block on the east side of the group should be visible in the render as it sticks out when viewed from that direction, as on the plan below. That's what lead me to believe it was the 23 storey hotel block.
It could be that the arrangement has been revised since the render was created, that often seems to happen for these large proposals and out of date renders often get used.

Ah yes, I see what you mean. As you said earlier, we need to see a few more renders. |

quite a compact site, and I guess directly opposite the old school, now a chinese restaurant. Good to see news plans coming through, but realistically with the massive surfeit of newbuild properties in Leeds and the now discounted prices at which they're trading, how commercial is it to start off a new scheme like this?
Any news on the aparthotel in Crispin Lofts? Now that is going to be a classy so and so. |

Looks good... I live just off Regent Street and the area is a shithole, so this will improve it no end!

Something is happening on this site with mobile cranes working away today and the 2 big advertising hoardings have been taken down.
Could we about to see some movement on this project? |

Leeds No 1 posted this piece of news in the Leeds buildings thread so I thought I'd post it here for the sake of completeness:
