Stadium Car Parks

I'm looking for images/examples of car parks which have been built into the side of a stand. The only example I can think of is St James Park, Newcastle where a multi level car park has been built into 2 of the stands. I'm sure there are other examples but can't find any. Thanks in advance.

Wembley! I'm not sure where you'd find the images, though.

Melbourne's Telstra Dome has over 2,500 car park spaces which are situated beneath the playing surface itself.

What about the old VFL Park car park out in the SE Melbourne suburb of Mulgrave. It is big enough to be a suburb in itself. The stadium used to hold around 80,000 people and when you have NO public transport to the place and only 4 lanes back to the city it is a recipe for utter mayhem. A lot of cars were only single passenger cars.

How many times have we all "lost" our cars in those jungle of cars?

There is probably STILL people trying to get out of that place all these years later. That was a shocker that joint.

Thanks a lot and please keep them coming. I'm led to believe the car park at St James, Newcastle is for corporate guests only? I don't suppose anyone has any pictures of the inside of the car park at Newcastle?

Personally I think it's the way forward for big stadiums, because parking is always an issue and with a a bit of planning and good architecture you could quite easily put car parks either underground, or built into the side of the stand. Otherwise your frequently left with

1) A stadium surrounded by lots of car parks which doesn't look great, a lot of NFL teams have stadiums like this

or

2) No parking nearby and sometimes poor transport links as well.

Don't Soldier Field and Allianz simply have large car parks under the stadiums themselves?

I would hate to play on a ground in which theirs a carpark underneath. Would not be good for your feet at all as the ground is like rock hard. But guess im just a soft ****. lol.

Nah but yeah you gotta put them somwhere and the simplest solution is underground.

Stade Louis II
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stade Louis II
Stade Louis IIThe Stade Louis II is a stadium located in the Fontvieille district of Monaco. It serves as a venue for both football, being the home of AS Monaco as well as the location of the annual UEFA Super Cup match, and athletics, where it plays host to the IAAF World Athletics Final (though certain events, such as the hammer, have to be held elsewhere, due to the stadium not being big enough).

The original Stade Louis II was opened in 1939 as the home of AS Monaco. The new stadium was built in the early 1980s, close to the site of the old stadium on land reclaimed from the sea, opening fully in 1985. It presently has a capacity of approximately 18,500 all seated. The vast majority of the stadium's facilities are located underground, with a large car park directly under the pitch (something that has caused some degree of criticism from managers of AS Monaco's opponents in the past over the state of the pitch).

Finally, something we can beat the Aussies at! You want to try coming out of Silverstone/Badminton/Burghley with 125,000 others down single-track rural roads! Throw in a bit of rain (which as you'll know we often do) and the potential for muddy mayhem is infinite.

Only in England can we aspire to such a jaw-dropping mis-match of capability and popularity!

Do you mean below the stands or "inside" the stands ?

In Grenoble, the new Stadium under construction will have a car park (460 spaces) below the stands:

Thanks for the pictures. I originally meant actually built inside the stands, the perfect example is St James Park, Newcastle. The car park (for corporate guests I believe) is built into the Sir John Hall Stand (and maybe the Milburn stand) as can be seen below, and you can see the circular vehicle ramps as well:

I don't know if there are any other examples, most other car parks are built underneath the pitch. But please keep posting pictures, thanks.

Just recently a parking deck has built by Continental Arlines Arena, which is to the right of it, though it's not that special.

Here is one attached to our arena, it's for club seat ticket holders. It's a really nice idea because in the winter the wind can be quite strong and COLD off the lake. If you look at the top left corner of the picture, that is our old arena, it has a garage underneath the ice level, not for spectators though, it's for team buses, tour buses, stuff like that.

In the Euroborg stadium in my city they have build 2 levels car parking build under the first tier (900 spaces). They also build a cinema, a casino, a school, a supermarket and offices in it.

If you look to the right you see the tier
