Montecarlo seen from my holidayhouse It's twin town with other 2 towns, Karlstejn (CZ) and Althen-des-Paluds (F). Those towns then are twinned with each other too, making a very solid twinning based on initiatives and exchanges between them (For example the Comune organized a trip in Czech Republic in occasion the twinning Karlstejn-Mylau, etc...)

I saw this in Laigueglia (Savona province). They are twin towns since 1972

There is a sign in Cambados, Spain, pointing to Mont St. Michel. It marks 1600 km (1000 miles). And there is no good image in Street View .

It is a pity... they could point a city such Juneanu, because Alaska is the distance taken just until the USA/Canada border at Alaska?

Free translation for non Spanish speakers:

Here the national route number 3 ends

Buenos Aires 3079 km
Alaska 17.848 km

You are here. End Route 3

There are no roads between Panama and Colombia, neither between Juneau and the mainland (just ferries).

We don't say Fireland. It's Tierra del Fuego even in English.

I think it was taken near Poti, Georgia, along S1.

Tsiteli Khidi is a subdivision of Kutaisi, so 90 kilometers west would point to the Poti area.

However, Tsiteli Khidi is also the name for the border crossing between Georgia and Azerbaijan, also known as the Red Bridge.

This would project the sign somewhere west of Tbilisi. Weird that Tbilisi itself is not signed, but it may be a supplemental sign to indicate long-distance destinations.

Last Friday I saw this sign pointing to Santiago. But it still falls 30 km short of that Santiago 820 km on N-240.
