I was starting to doubt this one at first, but now it seems pretty nice.
I guess the taller it is, the more the effect takes place.

Clear blue sky in jan/feb in Chicago means ice cold as i remember...lol

i find it interesting that the space between the floors is less than 10ft. when most other skyscraper it would be anywhere from 11ft to 14ft. any one know why? its a very efficient use of space but i guess high ceilings will not be a selling point for this building.

Outside the US, or at least here in The Netherlands, residential towers have a standard ceiling height of 8.5-11.5 - where the last number is only for the most luxurious towers. Office buildings are 11-13 at most.

For example, we have a very luxurious residential tower U/C here in Rotterdam designed by Alvaro Siza. While it has 45 floors, the height is 158m! This number would be higher with US buildings I presume.

Chicago gets some really lucid blue skies in the Winter. One of the nicest things about the season here.

Magellan - the developer of Aqua & all of the other Lake Shore East towers - is notoriously cheap. The low ceilings saved him some moola.
