Cool pic. I thought the Trapeze school was set to close b/c it was losing money.

Just thinking that the visibility of 50-60 floor tower(s) would be fantastic from all around town.

Nice find, MDGuy. You can see the pyramid formed on top of 414 Water St. It's not as big as the renderings made it appear.

from that angle, it makes the skyline look pretty chunky.

I like that shot.. wouldnt make a bad banner.. wink wink.
The pyramid looks best from the front if ur along pratt street. Looks absolutely most pathetic from the rear if ur comin down 83.. makes u wonder y its even there.

The night shots above are great! I see one pic was taken from the Patterson park Pagoda. I need to try and make it up there soon. I think there will be more action in this thread as new towers get built.

The one above the dog was taken from a roof on Madison Avenue in Reservoir Hill. I know it well because I had a house there at one time.

MDguy, those pics are stunning! Someone needs to post these pics on international/national boards. Here it's just preaching to the choir. In a Baltimore/DC board we all know what Baltimore looks like. I'm new to this site, but from what I've read thus far it seems we all know and agree that Baltimore has a major image problem (thanks Hollywood). Particularly nationally. So we need to get some of these cool pics out to the out-of-towners. Don't you agree?
I had never been on this forum until about a week ago, but went on the general international threads, and those people have amazing amounts of pride in their cities and relish the opportunity to show their city off to the international community. We need to have the same thing for Baltimore. I never saw a single thread showing Baltimore off. Lets get the word out that Baltimore is not all brick rowhouses, and drug dealer murders! |
