Tunnels in your city
How many do you have?
I can only think of 5 in the entire Melbourne metro area and one of them is not technically a tunnel. Burnley Tunnel Domain Tunnel Tunnel on Western Ring Rd at Sydney Rd. St. Kilda Junction underpass. Crown Casino Tunnel. |

The city loop is four tunnels.
Eastlink has a pair of tunnels in Ringwood. The Epping/Hurstbridge rail line has a pair of tunnels between Jolimont and West Richmond and another one in Heidelberg. There is another rail tunnel under Bunbury St in Footscray. There a lots more smaller tunnels around for pedestrians and stuff too.

I presume you mean publicly accessible road tunnels, because all cities have thousands.

 Inner City Bypass Breakfast Creek isn't really a tunnel. A cut and cover less than 50m I think doesn't class as a tunnel. |

The M5 East in Sydney is a 10 kilometre freeway tunnel connecting the M5 at King Georges Rd, Beverly Hills with General Holmes Drive and on to the Eastern Distributor.
