thanks a lot my friend, i wanted see this way since quite a long time as i am travelling there often but almost always at night.

^ As you probably know (if you've driven there at least once at day, hehe), driving along Jesenice is nicer in the direction of Austria, b/c the valley narrows towards Austria, so it's a kinda better feeling. But, heh, what can you do.

(btw, I couldn't drive in the other direction even physically, cuz a similar interchange to the one I used, leads you to border crossing for trucks; I wouldn't come well off there, hehe)

Ofcourse, that´s quite true, it is really impressive to drive there to the direction to Austria seeing how the mountains getting closer and closer, it is really a feeling of fear to travel there. Pictures can´t show how you feel travelling there. In Jesenice the valley is very narrow and looks really amazing but you could not take a photo of it as the last gateway was closed.

So true! That motorway hardly gets any sunshine, plus it's without hard shoulders, only emergency stops.

I wish we in bulgaria would have motorways leading through such beautiful mountains but that´s not possible since there is no need for this as bulgaria has not enough mountains like that to force the builders to build there, but it is better for the nature to not have motorways through the narrow valleys.

Beautiful Roads and landscapes. I allways heard that Slovenia was the most devoleped region of the former Yugoslavia. Is the Yugo car factory still working.

Thanks for your kind words, Kikab. Slovenia was actually a republic already in Yugoslavia, so you could've considered it a country, but not independent. The Yugo (Crvena Zastava) is still operating, in Serbia.

To answer the Alex's question, IMO Yugo is a nicer crap, hehe.

you could go and take a friend with you to make good shots of the liubljana jesenice motorway as the pics are a bit blurry. I hope i will travel through Slovenia when it´s day so that i can make shots there myself, really great country. and you, have you ever visited bulgaria?

^ I've only seen it from air, hehe.

I remember two motorways, getting together, ending up in Sofia.

But I couldn't exactly see Sofia, it was on the edge of my sight.

it´s a shame you were not in bulgaria, you know so much about bulgaria but were never there phisically.

I actually wouldn't have seen it even from air, if NATO wasn't bombing Serbia, but this way we had to do a detour via Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary (we went from Ljubljana to Samos (Greece), in 1999).
