I was at the Dragonja bordercrossing last month. At the Slovenian side soething new is begin built. I think a new terminal with more space for vehicles.

I really hope for both SLO and HR that an eventually new road will be connected to the Istrian Ypsilon as soon as possible. The B9 now ends about 500m before the border.

Lokalna televizija je nekaj snemala.

So dve identični tabli. Prva je takoj po izvozu iz počivališča/oskrbovalne postaje in je že bila poslikana, ta pa je malo dalje pred izvozom na Novo Zrkovsko.

It's a construction site... I don't know if you know what that is, but construction sites happen to have a lot of dust and sand.

Are exits with east, west, north and south new trend in Slovenia, as it is in Poland?

I suppose you were using names of very little villages by now, weren't you?

In Slovenian subforum we already have posts about terrible signage between and including both interchanges (A1-A4 in south of Maribor and A1/A5 in north). At future A1/A4 interchange:

(taken with mobile, quality therefore suffers)

This is taken in direction Zagreb-Maribor-Graz (going with right arrow). They left Graz completely and instead wrote exit Maribor-center (not a large one) and Lendava on A5 (which is small border town with Hungary).
Also layout of branches shown on signboard do not correspond to real layout.

Signs are big, letters sadly aren't.

I notice that more and more with my a bit ageing sight and comparing that to neighbouring motorways.

The motorway looks faboulous! I just also wanted to mention, I am a bit disappointed with recent Slovenian signage. I can't tell exactly what's wrong, but I find the signage a bit old fashioned and Yu-style. Although we use very similar standards and the same font, Croatian signage looks much more modern than Slovenian one. But I really can't tell why - is it the arrows, the font size, the borderline around the signs...

personally i would also "facelift" SLO signs. first of all - as i have allready said - they are too large and letters are too small. actually, letters have normal size, but they appear to be lost at large tables. font is good, swiss school, cannot be better. shape - not good. for instance, look at that sign for exit Maribor vzhod. they could easilly put "vzhod" under Maribor and sign would have better shape, not that wide. arrows could also be facelifted.
but maybe i am too subjective because we in HR have almost completely new look of signs, so SLO remind mi on our old (which were quite like ex-yu) so i find it little bit outdated.
