Then I remembered correctly. Although I don't see a reason that speed limit through grade-separated junctions is only 20 km/h higher than through standard intersections on Slovenia's G1-9.

probably that's some tip as it was present at A2 when each exit had speed limit 100 km/h.

On Gruškovje-Ptuj highway there is much easier to overpass a truck than on Matulji-Učka tunnel expressway.

Also, drivers be careful at the end of A4 motorway in Draženci (Ptuj). Police is constantly doing speed measurements there because speed limit goes from 130 to 60 and it is easy money for them.

of course it is because Matulji - Učka is constant ascent from 200 over sea to 500 over sea in only 15 km.

Just for a few km before the tunnel, it isn't enough, believe me. I drive to Poreč rather through Slovenia.

well, it wasn't me who projected it. still, you cannot compare it with G9, driving conditions (not to mention condition of road itself) are much better at B8/9

Sure there are differences in conditions. G1-9 is 20 years older and half of it still has original asphalt cover. But even such an old cover isn't damaged badly. Even, all serious damage can be attributed to motorway construction of Maribor-Ptuj.

Tunnel Šentvid on A2 in Ljubljana was reopened today with added new exit in direction Ljubljana south-Medvode-Škofja Loka (and opposite)

kewl! i have never driven at tunnel with exit (only in bus).

btw, i didn't know about that funny interference with LED lights or those are just broken lights at Audi?

LED lights and CCD chip of the camera seems to come into some sort of interaction, blinking is otherwise invisible to human eye.

LED's sucks during snowfall. They don't produce heat (thus not wasting energy), but can't melt the snow. I know last year we had snow & wind, so all LED traffic lights were invisible.
