@Verso
I think cause' you're slovenian that you have the answer to my question

Do you know when the Avtocesta A4 from Razcep Draženci to MMP Gruškovje will be ready? Wasn't it expected for end 2013? I hate the part on the 9 from Draženci over Podlehnik to Gruškovje when I'm driving to Croatia .

Sorry, no one knows the answer to your question. But probably sooner than Croatia will double its A2 by Đurmanec.

Oh yes A2 near Đurmanec is also a problem but how come that everytime since 2 years the highway doesn't get longer or that something changes? Since 2012 there is the same length and the same trees and bushes when I drive next to that part.

^ Because Slovenia is in a recession, and works haven't even started yet.

A national TMC-service became available in June 2009. The service is provided by TrafficNav,[18] the Budapest traffic information company and is available on two national FM networks of Radiotelevizija Slovenija, Slovenia's State Radio. The service can be accessed by most Garmin, Navigon and Navo nnavigation devices[25] and will soon be featured in several factory fitted car navigation devices. The service is based on V3.0 of the Slovenia location table.

Last week I was in Ljubljana with RDS-TMC equipment and there were no information about queues on Ljubljana ring or information for heavy rain on roads.

It's badly implemented and very much useless.

That service could be very useful. How often do you check its functionality?

How do I avoid big queues at the gruskovje border in summer holidays?

Could it be an advantage to travel at Night or morning? And how many hours is a typical queue in july there? I Guess since croatia now is a EU country, there is only 1 shared border and not 2 as usual? Is that right?

you can expect queues only during the weekends. if you travel at working days, no need to worry.
you have two border crossings near Rogatec, but they are often crowded too when Gruškovje is crowded.
as the best alternative i usually suggest using Ptuj - Zavrč - Varaždin - Zagreb. it is 60 km longer, but the toll is cheaper in total that route is maybe 3-3,5€ more expensive, what is not much imo. and there are no queues for cars there. never. guaranteed.

It will take up to six months to fully repair the damage caused by the recent ice spell on Slovenian motorways, the state-owned motorway company DARS announced on Monday, estimating the damage at EUR 3.7m.
