we are talking about the lorries. Austrian ones are really rare there. Austrians are obviously intensively using intermodal transport. i'd say too that i saw more Italian lorries in Sloveniam although both are quite rare. from what i see on Slovenian road network, beside Slovenian, Romanian and Hungarian lorries are No1. after them Polish, Czech, Bulgarian, and third group would be Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian.
btw Croatia is not cheaper than Slovenia unfortunately (unless we talk about spa and caffe bars, and occasionaly the fuel).

If so, I'm sure that EU armonized this rule for free competition reasons, rather than for road safety.

Finally found the "špedtrans - Maribor Jugoslavija" sign it's on the A1 at Maribor-center exit.

That the hard shoulder ends and the acceleration lane is about to start (you can see the same on the other side).

In case of emergency try to stop your vehicle before the line (if possible), so that you don't freak out someone who enters the motorway and sees you almost on the acceleration lane.

Yesterday A1 was closed at times around Postojn a(visibility was often close to zero) so snow clearing service organized convoys for vehicles to cross area being most affected from snow drifts on the motorway. Convoys were lead by snow ploughs and escorted by police.

This can be used as a new safety cushion system.

I've found it. The places are ordered as you drive; first you get to Sirči, then Pavliči etc.

I know these places. Like 100 people live max all of them. And 100 would be their average age.
