No, it's from the Facebook group "Misteri e meraviglie del Carso".

So kje fotografije gradbišč AC med 1985 in 1992? Imamo na forumu mogoče slike pričetka AC pri Višnji Gori okoli leta 1990? Pa slike dvopasovnice med Višnjo Goro in Rudnikom?

I'm really pleased to read and compare Slovenian with other Slav languages, still I don't get at all what you are saying. Could you please write in English so I could have it well understood. Btw, are there any projects of new motor- or expressways in Slovenia? The system is heavily Ljubljana-based.

He's asking if there are any photos of construction sites between 1985 and 1992 and if there are photos of the beginning of the motorway at Višnja Gora circa 1990 or pictures of the old main road between Višnja Gora and Rudnik.

Meite, you might be better off asking on the Slovenian forum.

Major upcoming projects include:
- extension of the A4 to the Croatian border (U/C, you can see the pics a few posts above)
- extension of the coastal expressway (H6) to Lucija on the outskirts of Portorož (in the final stages of planning)
- expressway from Slovenj Gradec via Velenje to the A1
- motorway from Postojna to Rijeka
- expressway from Novo mesto towards Metlika and Črnomelj
- expressway from Koper to the Croatian border at Dragonja
- widening of the motorway network around Ljubljana to 6 lanes

The first two could/will be completed within a few years, the rest will take much longer.

Thank you. If you have any sources that would be nice.
I think most of this things and its priorities seem logical. But the Koper expressway well.... It was pointed out earlier that there is a huge diefference in height, which makes is difficult to connect the Coastal Expressway to the Croatian A9. But If the Coastal Expressway is once built, i doubt that it will be enough money and will to built another one so close to it.

Is this on the Trieste-Ljubljana route? If i'm not mistaken, i drove past this bridge on my way from Trieste, but I can't remember if it was before or after Sckojan caves... and here's what i'm trying to figure out: we left Trieste on the morning, then drove to the caves, and after spending a couple of hours in the caves, we went like at 4 pm to eat to a very, very good little restaurant (I think 'gostilna' is the term in slovenian) right -or somewhere very close- by the bridge. I would appreciate if someone could tell me if i'm completely lost, or if our driving was directionless, or if there is indeed a restaurant, which I'd love to go back

The spatial plans for all of these projects are being prepared or are already confirmed, except for the widening around Ljubljana, a tender is currently out to conduct a preliminary study for that project.

You can find all national spatial plans, completed or not, on the following page (in Slovene): http://www.mop.gov.si/si/delovna_pod...torskih_aktov/

As for the H5, I don't think it will really make a difference until Croatia joins Schengen. There will always be queues at the border in peak times, especially now that controls will almost certainly be much more stringent.

Well Schengen had several heart attacks recently. We need to wait if it recovers at all.

It could make sense if he drove on the Trieste bypass through the southern part of the city.

33-km queue between Ljubljana and Maribor. 15 km on the A1 before Celje and then 18 km on the old road (R2-430) from Celje to Slovenske Konjice due to closed motorway.

perfect timing for maintaing the tunnel. and, of course, they didn't think that tunnel has 2 tubes. Austrians do similar thing - painting the tunnels' walls at A9 causes nonsense closure of both tubes.
