Wow last I came here this building was barely out of the ground. It seems like if I turn my head for five minutes it will be finish.

Oh well I'll find a way.

I mean, even with the current progress rate, it will not be taller then the other Marina towers before the start of the year 2013.

Well from different sources it is planned to be done in 14 or 15, but by then it will literally tower over princess tower and the rest.

I don't expect it will totally dominate the skyline visually since it is relatively "thin". But even if it did, to me it totally adds to the visual appeal of the cluster. It fun to see it rising. The taller the better!!

Yes, I've been keeping an eye on the progress before it hit curb level. (which wasn't that long ago really) and it excites me to come back now and then and see how much it has progressed.
I can't wait to see it finished among all the buildings in the tallest block. Considering none of the renders had it in the place where it is being built now, it should look different.
I don't think it will dominate, it will just stick out above all other buildings, and while doing so it will look excellent I hope.

I'd like to see a comparison diagram/photo between this and the Shanghai Tower - I know they are different in height and scale but they are at about the same stage in construction.

The Tower is great, but the design and the Height would come out better if the tower would stand free, and not in the tallest block.

Actually all the buildings around the Marina seem so close. It's just like one big wall of towers.

Pics taken from the penthouse of a 285 meters tall tower, so i would say 260 - 270

Pics were taken from the 71st floor of Sulafa Tower duplex penthouse, I had only wide angle lens with me but going back next week, I got an access for all penthouses there
