Blue glass works best IMO. Another one of their favourites is sand colour.

amazing. 500m+ tower for Dubai. that block would look like "Bladerunnerish" in years to come.

great height but what a terribly boring design.
Well, on reflection, perhaps Dubai needs something like this to offset some of the eye-burningly ugly tacky-talls also proposed |

What a great tower!! And for those who said it's design is boring and all that crap, i bet that if this building had been proposed for Chicago for example, it would have fitted perfectly, but noooooo, it's in dubai. Why everybody has to citicize everything this city builds? I mean...they are free to do whatever they want, they don't want to show anything, they just have the freedom to have no limits, and i think that's great.
BTW, amazing views the people who'll live there will have....i just saw the palm on the background!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I really don't like the look of it TBH.
And Q1 Tower (World's tallest residential tower) looks much better than this IMO. They could have at least used setbacks on this one. |

imagine sitting on the 60th floor of your million dollar appartment and not being able to see anything except your neighbours yellow underpants hanging out to dry. The close proximity of these towers , whilst impressive from a clustering point of vierw will be a nightmare as far as traffic, natural light corridors and updraft of wind issues.
Thank goodness I can watch these go up everyday from my terrace as apposed to living in them

I like one of the facades, but not that weird steps thing/whatever that is. Should take design cues from sleek glass scrapers from China and USA, and it should look great...
anyways. 516m waaaaaaaI wonder if all these condo-towers are going to make enough money though. They building more condo-towers than tourism will ever need, then again I feel that these guys build towers 'just for the hell of it.' |

Nice design.
Although it would look much better if it was wider!!
