The slowest part of the construction is this phase. Once it gets to ground level, then it will shoot up into the stars.

Amazing endeed. But there really are only 2 buildings in dubai that close to or exceeding 2000 ft (Burj Dubai and Pentominium). Unless you count Nakeel Tower, One Dubai or One Park Avenue. But I won't count any of them til' they start construction for real. None the less, Dubai still probably has more 2000 ft. skyscrapers then any other city in the world. It's insane.

Considering the current progress, when do you think the floor will be poured? Is there a set date for when the developers say it is going to rise?
