I only ask about the spire because it look stupid on this building. I'm not a fan of the design either way but it is what it is

The first Pentominium crane is really small here, I had to look twice to notice it.
The 3 bigger cranes at the last picture's bottom stand in the foreground and don't belong to the Marina superblock, if I'm not mistaken.

This corner of the plot looks very leveled/smoothed out already ... almost looks like concrete??

Thanks for the pics Imre

The crane is temporary and wil only be used during the preparation for the raft and probably on the first stages of the main structure construction.

The other cranes on the foreground belong to the Civil Defence building (white x1) and The Summit tower (yellow x2) that are just accross the road from the row of towers but not technically part of the Dubai Marina.

Progress on the foundations looks fantastic. Thanks for the update Imre. Is there a current construction schedule anywhere?

I know it's unlikely but they should just add another 8 floors to this.

My only reasoning for this is because 130 floors sounds better than 122.

And 150 is better than 130. This logic takes us nowhere.

I was just rounding off to the highest number with a 0 in it. : P

And I didn't know logic had anything to do with an acknowledged hypothetical wish. lol

Burj Dubai, Pentominium, Burj Al Alam. It will be interesting to see what a city with three buildings over 500 meters is like. I hope the Burj Al Alam gets built.
