After a long period during which it was on hold (even if this status has never been official), I think it's now the fastest growing skyscraper of Dubai

It will be soooooo nice to see it climb...

Yes, indeed. It's not all that long ago when this site was completely dead, so when you consider how far along they've come in such a short period of time it's pretty phenomenal. I just hope they can maintain this kind of pace once the tower is out of the ground..

That is some serious amount of steel they're putting down there! Btw, does anyone know the exact dimensions of this site? BRAMBLE?

The site is amazingly tiny for a supertall.

Does anyone know how much layers of rebar there are used just for the underlayer? Maybe BRAMBLE? The work is done insanly fast. (although it is just a matter of stacking rebar on top of eachother.)

Hi all.

Now this is some good stuff.
Great to see this from the start.
Seems like only a short while ago the site was virgin - so to speak.

Getting all the rebar ready for the raft pour really brings home the term - reinforced concrete.

Great updates Imre.

It varies over the site, but 14 in the underlayer on average

Yes! This will surely make the marina shine! The entire block could end up looking like an entire city's skyline!
