my mistake, so yes 15 000 m3

that means pooring 3.6 - 4.2 m3 of concrete/minute

which means 17 to 20min for a concrete mixer to unload the concrete

Makes sense with your previous calculation, after all, it's gonna take some extra time for empty trucks to leave and full trucks to come to the hole, it's not like they're getting a magical instant refill.

Actually when i wrote 17 to 20min that meant 17 to 20minutes to come, empty the concrete, leave i should have written it

12 concrete pump at the same time

The most common truck capacity is 6 m3 of concrete

So 1 truck for 1 concrete pump. 5-10min is needed to empty the 6m3 of concrete.

12 * 6 = 72m3 / 10minutes

since Bramble said it will take 60-70 hours :

72 * 6 * 60 = 25 920 m3 of concrete is needed ...

Maybe its all wrong
Pours are dictated by pump capacity not truck capacity. these Putzmiester or Schwing Truck pumps are generally at a 300 cube per hour capacity

Great news!

It's fantastic that they have reached this stage of the build already.

Yes indeed! Now that the Burj has been completed (on the outside anyway) a lot more attention may be focused on Pentominium, especially once its above ground.

BRAMBLE, what exactly will be the next step in the construction/build now that the pour has been completed?

Retaining walls against the existing diaphragm walls, shear walls and the central core for the lifts.....rising to form a number of levels of underground parking incorperating a car lift

Hardly surprising ... they were doing the same for steel suppliers when the piling had just started.

Isn't that a good action then? Instead of seeing some sort of Marina101 kind of Pentominium in the future...
