The cranes have been erected and it is ready to rise. I hope it retains this pace.

Because the Chicago Spire project is taking too long to restart, the spire was ditched.

I don't know why they cancel the spire because of the chicago building is delayed?!
There are several projects taller than both in japan, saudi arabia and maybe in qatar too! I think its just normal
cut cost issue.

imo it looks much better and cleaner without the spire, it is just a thing of pure beauty without any ugly white pole muddying it up!

I agree. Either way, this will look unbelievable! Those open terraces/balconies will look fascinating too I think.

It is a beautiful design, however it is shown in that picture almost alone while in reality it is surrounded by other very tall buildings. This one should have been on the water front, not row 2 or 3!
